The above are the CHILAS STUPAS , may be made thousands of years back by Budhist rulers of that time in Northern Areas of pakistan.

The left side is the original photograph taken in 2000 while the right one is  taken after 2002 when Taliban inspired hooligans destroyed their own culture after US  drove out Taliban from Afghanistan.

  We always tend to forget   that Indians and pakistanies share the same culture and history before the advent of invaders from Iran,Afghanistan,turkey  in 14th century and britishers in 18th century.

  Pakistan government has litttle interest in protecting these monuments. I think Indian government thorugh SAARC MUST HELP IN PROTECTING THESE MONUMENTS BEFORE THEY ARE COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY ILL EDUCATED VANDALS.
